About us

The Property Department is part of the Community Building Administration and is responsible for the municipality's property management, operational unit, and local planning. We have a property portfolio consisting of approximately 200,000 square meters of premises. As the municipality grows, we face several interesting development and construction projects with an average budget of 300 million SEK per year over the next three years. Job Description

In the role of Property Developer, you will have the overall strategic responsibility for the municipality's local supply issues. You will work strategically with the municipality's local efficiency and local supply, where you have a coordination responsibility for planning the local needs of the municipality's various administrations. You work from a corporate perspective with the municipal executive board as the property owner. In your assignment, you will work closely with the municipality's administrations as a representative in local supply issues, and you have an overall responsibility for needs inventory, development, and decommissioning of premises in both the short and long term.

A new focus area in the role is tasks related to the municipality's work with property development, with an emphasis on ensuring future local supply in an efficient manner. You will work closely with the planning and development unit on issues related to the municipality's local and property development, which is part of the municipality's community building process where various urban development projects are handled.

The role of Property Developer also entails functional responsibility for the municipality's local supply process and local supply plan, and you, together with the property manager, will present to the strategic local group. The work involves many contacts both internally and externally as you are the contact person for both the municipality's own administrations and private property owners.

You report to the Property Manager.

Who are you?

For this role, we see that you have a university degree in property management or another education that we deem relevant. Alternatively, you may have gained equivalent experience in another way. You have several years of experience in a similar role and documented experience of similar tasks. You have a very good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, as the work involves drafting written materials for committees. A driver's license (B) is a requirement for the position. We would prefer that you have worked within a politically governed organization, but this is not a requirement for the role. Knowledge of rental law and LOU is also meritorious and something we value. You have previously worked with development and change work related to the above content.

In the role, the right qualities are of utmost importance, and we are looking for someone who is communicative, driven, and has a good analytical ability that contributes to finding solutions. We value high social competence and a good ability to collaborate, as the work involves many contacts, both internally and externally. You should be able to see and meet needs in a businesslike manner, and you enjoy working with development, you dare to take initiative, and you work systematically towards clear results and goals.
