Capio Vårdcentral Tomelilla is a slightly smaller, well-functioning healthcare center in Österlen that provides primary care on behalf of Region Skåne. Our vision is to improve people's health every day. We want to make a difference for our patients by seeing, listening, and being here - today and throughout life. Digitally when possible and physically when needed.

Capio Vårdcentral Tomelilla is a smaller healthcare center with approximately 5700 listed patients. The center includes a midwifery clinic and a child health center. Since March 1, 2023, the Midwifery Clinic and Child Health Center are located at Familjecentralen Tomelilla across the street, and the Women's Health Clinic is at the healthcare center.

At Capio Vårdcentral, there are specialist nurses for diabetes care, asthma/COPD care, and hypertension care. There are also district nurse clinics, counselors, iCBT, and a dietitian, as well as close collaboration and subcontracting agreements with Rehabhuset in Tomelilla (physiotherapists and occupational therapists).

At Capio Vårdcentral in Tomelilla, everyone sits on the same floor, which facilitates communication. The premises are nice, and you are close to your colleagues. We have daily patient rounds and learn from each other. There is a minor emergency department daily, as well as regular outpatient care and home care. All staff collaborate across boundaries and support each other.

Capio Vårdcentral Tomelilla is close to the bus and train station, about 150 m. Free parking near the healthcare center.

Your role, we offer you

At Capio Vårdcentral Tomelilla, in addition to your regular duties, you can choose to be responsible for a specific medical area. It could be, for example, dementia, diabetes, asthma/COPD, or hypertension. This provides an opportunity to deepen your knowledge in the field, attend various training courses, and collaborate with other staff who are specialists in the subject.
