We are now looking for an orthodontic assistant for our clinic in Lund C.

At the clinic in Lund, we offer a wide range of dental care expertise. Here, a team of about 70 employees provides dental care in the fields of periodontology, endodontics, prosthetics, orthodontics, and pedodontics. We also conduct ST training for dentists. The clinic is located at Lund Central Station, providing good commuting opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an orthodontic assistant in our orthodontics department, you will work in a team with other orthodontic assistants and orthodontists, which means you will both work independently when required and together with your colleague when needed. Together, you will treat both children and adolescents as well as adults. You will perform examination and radiography assistance, delegated patient treatment, and administrative tasks such as cost estimates and referral management.

Patient safety and quality are always in focus in our dental care work. We value good service and a positive approach. It is an important part of your job to create and convey security and participation in every treatment.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a recognized dental nurse degree, preferably with a supplementary orthodontic assistant certification. Proficiency in the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale is required. Additionally, you have basic computer skills and preferably experience working with systems used in dental care. We offer training in the Carita journal system.
