Capio Lundby Specialist Hospital is located at Wieselgrensplatsen, less than 10 minutes by public transport from central Gothenburg. Through an extensive care agreement with the Västra Götaland Region, we provide specialist care in dialysis/nephrology, surgery, medicine, psychiatry, ophthalmology, ENT, and an operating unit in day surgery.

About your role at the psychiatric clinic

The psychiatric clinic is an outpatient clinic where our most common diagnoses are anxiety, depression, and neuropsychiatry (assessment and treatment). We offer our patients very good continuity and high availability. In our patient survey, 98% of our patients report being satisfied with the care received at the unit.

We work in well-composed teams with different professional categories to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care chain. The unit has experienced psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, licensed psychotherapists (CBT), psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries.

We have a strong patient focus, and the work mainly consists of patient reception. We work in two main processes: general psychiatric and neuropsychiatric processes. As a psychiatrist, you are expected to work in both processes but with some opportunity for specialization.

We are looking for a senior physician/specialist in psychiatry. Interest in the assessment and treatment of neuropsychiatric conditions is a plus.

As a person, you are positive, committed, and interested in driving the care for our psychiatric patients forward. You have a pedagogical approach and a holistic mindset with a focus on the patient's needs.

You should have good teamwork skills, be solution-oriented, and enjoy working in a team. Since you will be part of a close-knit team around the patients, we place great emphasis on personal qualities.
