Job Responsibilities

In the role of occupational therapist, you will have your own responsibility to perform occupational therapy-based interventions within elderly care. Your work focuses on supporting the elderly individual in both physical and cognitive challenges. You will work both independently and in a team, performing functional and activity assessments and leading training activities. Additionally, it includes trial-adjusting and prescribing aids as well as instructing, delegating, and guiding care staff. You will also collaborate closely with other professionals such as physiotherapists, nurses, and other occupational therapists. Furthermore, it includes reporting on the individual's activity ability at care planning meetings.
