About us

The emergency department at Södra Älvsborg Hospital in Borås is a large workplace with about 130 employees and approximately 54,000 visitors each year. We care for acutely ill patients of all ages in medicine, surgery, and orthopedics. During on-call hours, we also care for patients belonging to ENT and ophthalmology. We currently have a work schedule model that allows for some individual flexibility in the scheduling of work hours. Development work is continuously ongoing, scheduled, and integrated with daily operations. A significant improvement effort is underway to shorten our waiting times and develop a team organization, and we expect you to take an active part in the daily interdisciplinary improvement work.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a Swedish nursing license and experience in the field with an interest in emergency care. We see that you have specialized training in pediatrics/emergency care/intensive care or the intention to acquire such specialist competence. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities, where we seek someone who can work independently while also having a good ability to work in a team and can switch between different tasks and work paces based on the needs of the organization.
