Job Responsibilities

We are currently looking for an experienced freight forwarder for our client in Gothenburg. Do you have previous experience in shipping, especially in exports? Are you ready to start the new year with an exciting new position? Then you should read on!

The role is a direct recruitment for our client in Gothenburg. Here you will meet a workplace with a high ceiling and a very familiar atmosphere. You will sit in cozy and airy premises with very good connections and be challenged in your role daily. Working hours are daytime, office hours with the possibility of flexibility.

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Planning and booking of sea transports.
• Daily contact with suppliers, customers, and partners where a natural part of your work also includes upselling.
• Responsibility for the entire process from booking to delivery of goods.
• Handling deviations.
• Handling customs and invoicing issues.

Your Profile

To succeed in the role with our client, we believe you have at least 3 years of experience working as a freight forwarder and experience working with sea transports. In a dream world, you have also worked with exports and in the CargoWise 1 system. In addition, you see rapid changes as a positive challenge and are flexible in your working style. Communicating with multiple contact points is no problem for you, and upselling comes naturally as you can easily understand your customers' needs.

Requirements for the Position

• At least 2-3 years of experience in freight forwarding and relevant education.
• Experience working with sea transports.
• Excellent command of Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
• Good computer skills (Office package and business systems).

Meritorious for the Position:

• Experience in exports
• Experience working in the CargoWise1 system
