Lerum Municipality, with its central town Lerum, has approximately 3,200 employees and is located about a 20-minute drive from Gothenburg. The Authority department is responsible for the exercise of authority within social services. In this department, there are seven units, one of which is the administrative unit. The responsibilities of the administrative unit include the social services reception, handling of mail, orders, invoice management, fee processing, security training, and more.
The municipality is facing the transition to the new Social Services Act, and in this work, the administrative unit will play a crucial role.
The unit consists of nine employees with extensive experience and high competence in the unit's mission. The employees take great responsibility and have a good cooperation both within the unit and with other units. Visitors in need of support and assistance in various matters come to the social services reception.
During the spring, one of the unit's employees will retire, and another employee will move on to another assignment within the municipality.
The recruitment of a unit manager is ongoing and expected to be filled in the first quarter.

Job Responsibilities
In the role of administrator and receptionist, you will be responsible for several administrative tasks. This includes invoice accounting, registering statistics for purchased care, assisting the unit manager and economist in budget monitoring.
You are responsible for supporting employees and unit managers in registering in the Heroma system.
You establish agreements and ensure that they are registered in the diary.
You are responsible for producing statistics and documentation, for example, upon request for public records.
Your tasks include working in several systems such as Treserva, Proceedo, VeriFied, Platina, SEFOS, and Heroma.
Being employed in the administrative unit means that you may need to work at the social services reception when necessary.
In the assignment, you are expected to be able to identify and propose digital solutions within your own area of responsibility and within the unit.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in administration, or a high school education combined with several years of experience in administrative work within social services.
Experience in administrative work in a municipality, region, or state agency is a requirement, as well as experience in administrative tasks within social services.
It is important that you have a high sense of service, are administratively skilled, and good at coordinating various issues. You take great personal responsibility, have good computer skills, and are good at expressing yourself verbally and in writing. The work requires you to be able to work independently and take your own initiatives. You also need to be open to thinking innovatively and wanting to deliver solutions to various problems. You need to be able to handle rapidly emerging situations and questions.
It is also important that you are self-reliant, flexible, meticulous, structured, and complete the tasks you have taken on within given time frames, as well as enjoy working with others. You are expected to have a keen interest in developing and streamlining administrative processes.
The position is available from March 3, 2025, or by agreement.
