Ängens Health Center is one of the newest healthcare centers in Örebro. Since 2011, we have been located in Ladugårdsängen, one of Örebro's modern residential areas. Our facilities are bright and fresh, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

The operation is well-functioning and appreciated by our patients. We have good accessibility and are known for providing a friendly reception. Those of us working here have a strong sense of unity, a willingness to think innovatively, and there is good cooperation both within and between different professional categories. We work based on the needs of each patient, and our various professions contribute with their expertise. Together, we continuously work on quality development. Ängens Health Center is the only HBTQ certified healthcare center in Örebro. The healthcare center is located in the same building as the municipality's day rehabilitation and nursing homes, which facilitates cooperation with municipal staff.

The medical group includes several general specialists. Most nurses are district nurses with further education in various areas. We have 2 nursing assistants and a rehabilitation coordinator. Ängens Health Center also includes Child Health Center (BVC), Maternity Care Center (MVC), Family Center, Memory Clinic, and physiotherapy, including neurophysiotherapy.

Job Responsibilities

As a general specialist, you will have a varied assignment with opportunities to combine outpatient work with Maternity Care Center (MVC) or home care. Supervision of medical students, interns, and residents is included. Time for further education and medical discussions with colleagues is scheduled weekly. We strive to delimit the work and keep the workload reasonable.

You will also, as part of our cohesive team, have a designated role in our work to develop the healthcare center and our mission, all to provide our patients with the best possible care!

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed physician with specialist competence in general medicine. You see yourself as confident in your professional role, are pedagogical, and enjoy sharing your knowledge. Emphasis is placed on personal suitability, especially the ability to collaborate, good communication skills, and a willingness to develop. You have a positive and professional approach in your work, where the patient is the focus.
