About the assignment

We are now looking for an experienced accounting economist for a client in Gothenburg. The client operates in the public sector and is in need of reinforcement during the period from January 20, 2025, to May 30, 2025, with the possibility of extension. The assignment's employment rate is 100%.

This is a consulting assignment via Bemannia with placement at the client.

Your responsibilities

As an accounting economist for the client, you work continuously with asset registers and balance accounts for buildings, land, fixtures, ongoing work, etc., and make monthly closing entries and reconciliations. Furthermore, you work with the following:

• Project accounting where you set up new projects, continuously verify the quality of the accounting, receive documentation for completed projects before activation, and have a dialogue with project managers
• Evaluate and quality review existing work methods and settings with suggestions for improvements
• Document routines in the work and create instructions for the organization

Your qualifications

• University degree in economics, with a focus on accounting or equivalent experience
• Experience working in an asset register in a larger organization that owns properties, has ongoing investment and maintenance projects, and applies the K3 regulations
• Experience working continuously with and reconciling associated balance accounts and investigating any discrepancies
• Experience working in Agresso or another larger financial system
• Knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
• Communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
