The Child and Youth Administration is responsible for preschool, after-school care, primary school, and adapted primary school grades F-9. In total, we are about 1100 people working to provide a good service for our children and students today and prepare them for the future. The adapted primary school Noltorp is a school for grades 1-6 with its own associated after-school care and is integrated into the newly built Noltorpsskolan, which is beautifully located near both Nolhagaparken and Lake Mjörn.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for two committed and responsible teaching assistants for our adapted primary school Noltorp. As a teaching assistant, you will work together with a team of teachers and teaching assistants to create a safe and stimulating learning environment for students with intellectual disabilities. You play an important role in supporting students' individual development and well-being, and providing them with the best conditions to succeed in their schooling.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide practical and pedagogical support to students in the classroom as well as during breaks and in other school activities.
- Support students in their social and emotional development.
- Adapt and follow up on individual support measures according to the needs identified for each student.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, teaching assistants, special educators, and other professionals in student health to develop and implement adapted learning strategies.
- Work at our after-school care Boken after regular school hours.
- Contribute to creating a safe and respectful environment where every student feels seen and understood.
- Contribute to the follow-up of students' development and needs.
- If necessary, assist students with physical activities or other practical tasks during the school day.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a high school education from the Child and Youth Program with a focus on special education.
We see that you have previous experience working in an adapted primary school and/or with children with intellectual disabilities and/or children on the autism spectrum.
We also see that you have experience and/or training in Alternative Augmentative Communication (AAC).
