Dalsjöskolan is a school where staff and students thrive and work towards good academic results. Dalsjöskolan is a 4-9 school with 630 students and about 100 staff members. We have three parallel classes in the middle school and six in the high school. The school is a workplace with a positive atmosphere, and we work together based on current research. We have a well-functioning student health team consisting of a special educator, school nurse, school psychologist, and counselor who work preventively in close collaboration with the staff.

At Dalsjöskolan, there is also a municipal special education group for grades 4-9.

In the role of lead teacher at Dalsjöskolan, you will be a teaching teacher with regular duties but also perform special tasks included in the lead teacher assignment. Based on the Swedish National Agency for Education's requirements for career services, the conditions for the assignment will be planned together with the principal.

In the role of lead teacher, the following tasks may be included:

- Together with the school's management, participate in the work of analyzing, leading, implementing, and following up on quality development related to teaching.

- Develop teaching at your own or other schools within the administration.

- Lead, coordinate, and be responsible for school-wide development processes.

- Stay updated with research and initiate pedagogical discussions.

- Coordinate and act as a discussion leader and mentor in a professional collegial learning environment.

- Observe and mentor in teaching situations.

- Mentor teachers in general didactic issues or issues related to specific subjects. Lead teachers may also have a special assignment when introducing newly hired teachers.

National qualification profile:

- Licensed teacher with qualifications to teach Science for grades 7-9

- Through documentation, demonstrate at least four years of well-documented work with teaching within the framework of one or more positions in the school system.

- Can demonstrate a particularly good ability to improve students' academic results and has a strong interest in developing teaching.

- Assessed by previous employers as particularly qualified for teaching and tasks related to teaching.

Local qualification profile:

- Implements governing documents in practice.

- Has solid subject and subject didactic knowledge.

- Can successfully adopt the learner's perspective and create good relationships with all students where positive expectations are a natural part.

- Has a good ability to disseminate teaching strategies as well as research and scientific theories to colleagues in a collegial professional learning environment.

- Has shown commitment and genuine interest in school development.

- Has a good ability to mentor colleagues and lead development processes both within the subject and school-wide.

- Has the ability to inspire and be a good ambassador for the profession.

- Mastery of teaching with modern technology.

- Has the ability, together with the school's management, to analyze, lead, implement, and follow up on the work with quality development related to teaching.
