JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who, with great commitment and experience, can convey knowledge to colleagues and provide support to the operations.

The escort service needs to strengthen the staffing of support pedagogues during the summer due to the parental leave of regular staff.

As a support pedagogue, you are responsible for ensuring good quality in the work and ensuring that laws and regulations are followed, among other things, through the establishment of implementation plans and documentation. You are the link between different professions around our escort cases, which means you have contact with authorities, users, and you support escorts in methodology.

You are part of a team led by a unit manager and work closely with planners, coordinators, and fellow support pedagogues. The work is carried out independently and with a wide variety of tasks.

Start date: 2025-05-25 or by agreement
Duration: Until 2025-09-12 or by agreement

QUALIFICATIONS

For the position of support pedagogue, a post-secondary specialization in the field of disabilities is required, covering at least 200 YH points, 120 higher education credits, or 60 higher education credits with two years of work experience with people with disabilities. The education should have relevant points in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) nursing or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.

If you do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1, you may be offered to take a language test through the testing user Educateit. Since we use documentation, it is also important that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

It is a requirement that you have previous experience in establishing implementation plans and writing documentation.

It is an advantage if you have at least 2 years of documented experience working in the field of disabilities, have experience leading groups, and are accustomed to supporting and guiding staff working directly with users.

It is also advantageous if you have knowledge of the Treserva documentation system.

You are flexible and can easily adapt your working methods based on changed conditions and new information. You can quickly change your perspective and approach and see opportunities in changes.

You are analytical and can effectively identify and analyze the core of a problem and suggest possible solutions. You have the ability to see connections and can draw logical conclusions from limited and/or complex information.

You are goal- and results-oriented and are motivated by clearly defined goals and have the ability to translate these into concrete actions. With a focus on the goal, you can reprioritize work when conditions or needs change. You follow up and report results and goal fulfillment.
