Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is easy to laugh, has a twinkle in their eye, is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a female customer in her mid-25s living in central Lidköping
• has very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• has experience with EP
• is a good swimmer and can tolerate pets

It is also meritorious if you:

• have experience in similar work
• have a B driver's license
• are physically fit and interested in training
• share the customer's interests such as swimming, bowling, singing, and enjoy having coffee in town

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary position at approximately 90% during weeks 25-32. It involves 10-12 hour shifts during the day with an average of about 90% 3-4 shifts per week with every other weekend. Most of the time is double assistance. The customer has a wakeful night that is primarily staffed by regular personnel during the summer. You need to be able to start the introduction in April and also work extra occasionally per week until week 25.

Hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
