We are looking for dedicated personal assistants for a young man, 28 years old, with autism, developmental disabilities, severe sensory sensitivities, and communication challenges. He is about to move out of his home, which means you will help build a new and important part of his life.

We are looking for assistants for various employment forms: Full-time, part-time, and hours as needed, starting in the summer. There is a possibility of a permanent position in the future.

About the role:
You will assist him in daily life, which may involve everything from support with daily routines to accompanying him on activities. He enjoys driving and exploring the surroundings, which is an important part of his interests. The work requires a low-arousal approach and a great deal of patience.

As he is about to create a new daily life in connection with moving out, you will become a central part of shaping both routines and security together with him and the team.

We are looking for someone who is:
- Calm, secure, and low-arousal.
- Patient and attentive, with an understanding of how autism and sensory difficulties affect daily life.
- Fearless and flexible, ready to handle new situations.
- Independent, as the work is done without the need for social interaction with others during shifts.
- Structured and enjoys having order.

Meritorious:
- Experience in healthcare or personal assistance.
- Knowledge of diet and allergies.
- Special skills or abilities that can enrich the assistance, such as music, technology, or educational tools. A driver's license and non-smoking status are required for the position.
