Night owl with a driver's license? Welcome to country life

The first boy is 11 years old and lives on a farm outside Skepplanda. He is a curious child with several diagnoses – including an immunological disease, NPF, and nutritional issues, which means he has two buttons implanted.

We are looking for someone who:

has a driver's license and a car – public transport does not reach this area
is not allergic or afraid of animals – this is a farm with several two- and four-legged family members
wants to work awake nights in a position of 90%

City job without a car? Then you might be a fit for the boy in Nol

The second boy is 16 years old and lives in Nol. He has a tracheostomy, button, and hearing impairment – but enjoys communicating with signs, which is an advantage if you can too. No car is required here, public transport works fine.

We are looking for someone who:

can get to Nol without problems
does not have any pets – there are allergies in the family
wants to work awake nights, about 75%

For both positions, the following applies:

You must be able to speak and understand Swedish very well – sometimes you need to be the boys' voice to the outside
You are smoke-free, these are completely smoke-free workplaces

Before you start

Both positions begin with shadowing during the day and evening and as a temporary employment. It is important that you get to know each other before you take over the responsibility at night. If you enjoy each other's company, the positions may transition to fixed-term employment as long as the assistance assignment lasts with a working degree of 75% or 90%.

GIL has coordinated personal assistance since 1989. The cooperative has roots from the Independent Living movement, which is based on the principle that those with disabilities know best how they want to live their lives. Normally, the person entitled to assistance is the immediate boss of the assistants, or a person with special knowledge about the person entitled to assistance is appointed.

GIL has a collective agreement with Fremia-communal.
GIL offers its employees up to 2,500 SEK/year in contributions for wellness and health.
