About the Role and Your Responsibilities

As a primary school teacher, you work pedagogically and socially based on the organization's goals and guidelines as well as applicable governing documents.

You are well acquainted with the current curriculum and are responsible for the pedagogical content of the teaching while promoting students' learning and development.

At Lerbäckskolan's middle school, you will collaborate closely with your colleagues in the grade team regarding planning, follow-up, assessment, and mentorship. Together, you share and support each other. You will also have a close collaboration with our two special educators.

We are currently looking for primary school teachers for two positions:

The first position will be in a grade where you will teach Swedish, English, mathematics, science, and technology. Mostly in one class but also in parallel classes in the same grade. You will be the class teacher in one of the classes and share mentorship with a colleague.
The second position will be in other grades where you will teach Swedish, English, mathematics, and social studies. You will be the class teacher and share mentorship with another colleague.

We are looking for you

We are looking for a licensed primary school teacher with qualifications to teach the specified subjects and grades. It is an advantage if you have previous teaching experience. You have a good understanding and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply these pedagogically in your daily work.

As a teacher, you are a clear leader and actively work to find different ways to create engagement and participation among your students. You are a safe and stable adult role model. Your communication skills are very good, and you have well-functioning relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.

To thrive with us, you need to have good collaboration skills and an interest in developing yourself and your teaching to meet the diverse needs of all students. We also appreciate if you have previous experience working with language-enhancing and stimulating methods in your teaching, as well as experience teaching students with NPF.

Lerbäckskolan is a K-9 school with approximately 800 students in central Lund, close to Lund C. What characterizes Lerbäckskolan is a calm, safe environment and good academic results. A strong focus is placed on creating good relationships between students and adults at the school.
