Do you have a varied teaching style that continuously develops with the students?

Then you might be the one we are looking for to join our teaching staff with certified colleagues. In your teaching role with us, you will have the opportunity to focus on the core mission; the students' learning and development towards the goals. Your teaching is modern and creative, aiming to reach and find strategies to strengthen the students, both academically and in their development towards responsible citizens. You plan, implement, and follow up your work both independently and in collaboration with colleagues, and you continuously work on development based on scientific principles together with colleagues and management.

All teachers with us are part of both subject teams and work teams and are together with a colleague a mentor for a class. Here you also have support from the other staff in student health.

Qualifications

We are looking for a certified teacher with qualifications to teach grades F-6 in the subjects of physical education and health.

Previous experience working as a teacher in the early grades of primary school with good references is a requirement, but if you are newly graduated with good grades from your internship, you should not hesitate to apply – with us, you will have a mentor throughout your first year! You have good collaboration skills, are positive, and build trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You are a confident and clear leader in the classroom and have the ability to see the whole student.

In your work, you are also development-oriented and solution-focused. You can plan your work based on the varying workload throughout the school year and have the ability to handle more stressful periods. You have an excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing and easily manage relevant digital tools.

Welcome to Holmaskolan – A place where learning becomes an experience! Holmaskolan is a primary school with about 250 students in grades F-6, which has an associated after-school program and an adapted primary school. At our school, we strive to make every day meaningful and engaging for our students. Through our work with experience-based learning, where students explore and learn through experiences, we create an environment that inspires curiosity and creativity. During the school day, time is offered for conversations, reading, and writing to give each student the opportunity to develop their communication skills and thereby build their confidence in their language abilities. Working on language development is a given for all educators at Holmaskolan. We are also proud participants in the NTA program (Natural Science and Technology for All), where we give students the opportunity to develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills through practical experiments and collaborations.
