Prästavångsskolan in Broby is a health-profiled F-6 school that reflects the diversity of society. The school has approximately 400 students overall but is divided into two school units;

• Prästavångsskolan F-3, with four associated leisure departments
• Prästavångsskolan 4-6, with one associated leisure department

The school has worked health-promoting for many years through health councils, value foundation teams, and student health teams. Our movement initiative in collaboration with RF-SISU Skåne permeates a large part of the school's activities and breaks. Our work is characterized by openness, engagement, and responsibility. JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a teacher in leisure activities for our leisure department in grades 4-6. We are looking for a development-oriented teacher who, in collaboration with the primary school and staff in the leisure department, is expected to drive and develop leisure activities in accordance with national and local goals. As a qualified teacher in leisure activities, you have an additional coordinating function for your leisure department and your work team. Together with other coordinators for the other leisure departments, you work towards a clear goal-oriented effort, a common understanding, and equality between the departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license with qualifications for teaching in leisure activities and is qualified to teach art.

Your personal qualities are important to us, and to succeed in the role, you have a conscious pedagogical approach where the student's participation and responsibility are in focus.

You are professional in your approach and have the ability to create and maintain good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

You are well-versed in the curriculum and can organize, structure, and follow up on the systematic quality work in the leisure department based on specified goals. You have good self-awareness, are confident in yourself and in your pedagogical leadership, and have a good ability to take leadership both in organized and more free teaching situations.

You have an open and critical approach. Your view of school development is based on modern educational research, and you keep yourself updated in the field.

Experience and competence regarding language-developing methods in leisure activities, health-promoting work, and active promotion and preventive value foundation work are also considered particularly meritorious.

Of course, you use digital tools as instruments in your daily work. You have a good ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
