JOB DESCRIPTION

As a teacher in Landskrona, you are expected to lead and develop teaching and mentorship. This is done in collaboration with other staff, students, guardians, and other stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who wants to teach Science for grades 7-9 at Sandåkerskolan in Häljarp. You will be responsible for planning and implementing teaching, assessing students' knowledge, and collaborating closely with colleagues.

Sandåkerskolan's guiding principles are Excellent Teaching and Supportive Mentorship. Our subjects are well-equipped with analog teaching materials, and we believe that the combination of digital and analog resources provides a good framework for excellent teaching. The subject team you will be part of has time set aside each week for collegial exchange.

Your position will also include mentorship for a class that you will meet for mentoring sessions a couple of times a week, as well as a number of mentorship days with students throughout the school year. Mentorship includes contact with guardians. Together with other mentors and study mentors, you will form a mentorship team for the grade. You will meet weekly for mentorship team meetings where you plan and follow up on the content of mentorship sessions, which, in addition to individual conversations with students, includes systematic teaching based on chapters 1-2 of the curriculum. Together, these working methods create a supportive mentorship.
