About the Role and Your Responsibilities

We are looking for an engaged project manager with special educational competence for an attendance-promoting project aimed at preschool, preschool class, primary school, and adapted primary school.

You will play a central role in implementing a strategic model to increase attendance and engagement among children and students in the municipality's preschools and schools. In this role, you will work closely with the operations to support and guide the staff in adapting and using the model based on their specific needs and conditions.

The model is designed to create systematic approaches and increase equity. As a project manager, you will be responsible for introducing the model, mentoring staff in its use, and helping to adapt support and materials to meet the individual needs of children and students. You will also be a key person in identifying and solving challenges that may arise during implementation.

The position is a project employment for 1 year with a possibility of extension.

We Are Looking for You

We are looking for someone with a special education degree and experience in attendance-promoting work, as well as a good ability to lead and support operations through change processes. You are a confident leader and initiator who easily sees what needs to be done and drives the work forward.

You are communicative, have good collaboration skills, and the ability to engage and guide staff in effectively implementing the model. Your expertise in special education allows you to contribute both breadth and depth to the collaborative work.

It is advantageous for the position if you have training and experience in NPF (neuropsychiatric disabilities), knowledge of mental health, and project management training. Experience working with strategic models and following them up in practice is also a merit.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference by implementing a model aimed at creating a more equitable and present school experience for all children and students. You will work closely with preschools and schools to ensure that the model is put into practice and leads to the positive effects sought.
