Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a teacher for grades 6–9 with qualifications in Physical Education and Health and at least one natural science subject for Augustenborg School! Your responsibilities include planning lessons, conducting teaching, and assessing students' acquired knowledge. The school has a lesson structure with clear learning objectives, and we make students' learning visible. You will evaluate and develop the pedagogical work based on the school's governing documents and the needs and interests of the students, both individually and together with the team. The position is initially a temporary contract.

Your teaching is modern and creative, and you find strategies to reach every student and support them in both knowledge development and personal growth. You collaborate with other school staff to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff and actively participate in the school's development work. Qualifications

You who are applying are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach in grades 6–9 in Physical Education and at least one natural science subject. Previous experience working as a teacher for grades 6-9 is a requirement. You have a good understanding of and knowledge about the school's governing documents and can effectively use them in your daily work. You have good knowledge of didactics and pedagogy and can lead and organize work to create a calm study environment and a good learning atmosphere throughout the day.

You adapt your teaching to the needs of the students and actively work with the available learning environment. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work, and with good knowledge and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. You easily build good relationships, manage yourself in your role, and have a good ability to organize your work. You have strong collaboration skills and systematically analyze the effects of teaching on students' results together with students and colleagues.
