Kulltorpskolan is a newly built, two-parallel F-6 school with modern, fresh facilities, located in a quiet residential area about 2 km outside Kristianstad city center.

The school has 340 students, of which about 200 are enrolled in after-school care, promoting a wonderful community and opportunities for learning throughout the school day. With a team of about 45 employees, we work every day to create a school where knowledge and well-being are at the center. Our high goal achievement is a result of determined and involved students as well as engaged and knowledgeable teachers focused on each student's individual needs and progression.

As a partner school to Kristianstad University, we regularly welcome teacher students, enriching both students and staff and creating a dynamic learning environment where new ideas and teaching methods have room to grow.

We are currently looking for two new colleagues to teach in grades 4-6, and we would like at least one of these to have qualifications in mathematics and natural sciences. RESPONSIBILITIES

You will teach and be a mentor in grades 4-6. As a teacher with us, you stimulate students to learn and take responsibility. With commitment and enthusiasm, you create a safe learning environment based on mutual respect and collaboration, through good leadership both inside and outside the classroom.

The teaching is designed based on the goals of the curriculum, where planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation are important cornerstones. You have positive and high expectations of the students and adapt the teaching according to all students' levels, focusing on the best interests of the student.

Through dialogue, you create good relationships characterized by mutual respect and a trusting approach. In your role, you keep yourself updated on events in the world and the everyday lives of young people. Alternative teaching tools and documentation are included as a natural part of your work. In a systematic way, you reflect on the practical work and together with colleagues, you drive development work in the work group/school. You also have a shared responsibility for both your own and the group's planning and further development.

If you are new as a teacher, you will be supported by a mentor for the best guidance in the work, and if you are an unqualified teacher, you can conduct teaching but not be responsible for it. Responsibility for grading lies with a certified teacher.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for you with a teaching certification qualified to teach in grades 4-6 in the subjects of Swedish, mathematics, English, social studies, natural sciences, and technology in primary school. Secondly, we are looking for you who have subject knowledge at the university level in the above subjects. It is advantageous if you have pedagogical education at the university level. We prefer that you have experience in teaching, preferably in primary school, and have worked with children/young people aged 9-13 years.

You have the ability to adapt teaching according to each student's conditions, and your lessons are characterized by clear expectations, a conducive working atmosphere, and a desire to learn. We would like you to have a good ability to teach children in need of special support and have the ability to help students manage conflicts that arise. You have commitment, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in the school world and how it is affected by the outside world.

A success factor is that you can create trusting relationships both inside and outside the school. Furthermore, you are a confident educational leader with the ability to critically analyze your own and the work group's methods for continuous development.

Of course, you use digital technology in teaching and as tools for information, planning, communication, and reporting. You organize and structure your work based on set goals.

As a person, you are communicative, attentive, and well acquainted with and live up to the ethical principles for teachers, as well as having the ability to analyze and document students' abilities and knowledge.

In order for us to consider your application, you must attach your degree certificate and teaching certification. If there are no qualified certified teachers, you who are unqualified can be employed temporarily according to the Education Act. When we want to offer you the position, you must present an extract from the police criminal record for us to be able to employ you, according to the provisions in Chapter 2, Sections 31-33 of the Education Act.
