Planning Officer Wanted for the Implementation Unit Mitt (GE Mitt)
Located at GE Mitt Staff in Enköping. GE Mitt conducts operations that ensure the Armed Forces' ability to communicate and lead, around the clock and year-round. The units' departments are spread across 6 locations within the Military Region Mitt (MR M) and consist largely of technical personnel in various areas of expertise such as IT, telecommunications, and transmission.
The GE Mitt staff is divided into functions with different specialist areas and supports the unit manager in leading the unit's departments and production.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead, drive, and coordinate the unit's war unit development work
- Collaborate with external and internal units
- Represent, lead, and develop functions and operations within the planning area
- Lead and coordinate the staff's and unit's planning tasks
- Quality assure, follow up, and report on the unit's long-term planning assignments
- Other staff-related tasks
- Prepared to take over the Chief of Staff's duties
- Broadly lead/participate in training of the unit's employees within the war unit development area (e.g., GSU, Combatant, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
- OF 2-3 or SO 6-7
- Experience in planning and control at battalion level
- Driving license B

As a person, you find it easy to collaborate with others and create and maintain trust both internally and externally. You are receptive in a humble way and are good at leading people in groups. You are driven, take your own initiatives, and have the ability to drive the staff's functions and the unit's work towards set goals. You are unpretentious and flexible and can easily adapt to new information and emerging situations. It is important that you have analytical and structured abilities and can perform well under stressful and pressured situations. Despite the lack of information, you dare to make decisions. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
MERIT
- Experience from the Armed Forces and FMTIS operations at tactical/operational level
- Technical background in one of the specified areas (IT, telecommunications, and transmission)
- Instructor or training experience in one or more of the areas of vehicles, transport, logistics, healthcare, firearms, etc.
Start Date
By agreement. Permanent employment and a 6-month probationary period apply for those who are not employed within the Armed Forces.
Other
Work location: Enköping, travel may occur to other locations in the country as well as possible international service.
