Quartermaster Wanted at GE Mitt

Genomförandeenhet Mitt (GE Mitt) is seeking a quartermaster to be placed at the unit's Staff in Enköping.

GE Mitt operates to ensure the Armed Forces' ability to communicate and lead, around the clock and year-round. The unit's departments (GA) are spread across 6 locations within Military Region Mitt (MR M) and consist mainly of technical personnel in various technical fields.

The GE Mitt staff is divided into functions consisting of various specialist competencies and supports C GE Mitt in leading the unit's departments and production.

Main Responsibilities

As a Quartermaster, you will be responsible for leading and developing the unit's logistics. The Quartermaster participates in staff work and supports all types of tasks within the logistics area. Examples of tasks include:

• Mobilization responsible at the unit
• Prepare supply and procurement matters
• Inventory responsible
• Material service
• Technical service
• Transport service
• War planning
• Conducting training for personnel in the unit
• Exercise planning

REQUIREMENTS

• SO 6-7 or OF2
• Employed or previously employed in the Armed Forces in a military logistics position
• Knowledge of FM material process
• Knowledge of systems LIFT and PRIO
• Driving license B

You can also work independently towards set goals and are proactive in various processes. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

MERITS

• Experience as a Logistics Officer/Quartermaster at least at battalion level.
• Experience and knowledge of the Armed Forces' command and communication equipment.
• Heavy driving license qualifications

Start Date

According to agreement. Permanent employment and a 6-month probationary period apply for those not employed within the Armed Forces.

Work location: Enköping, travel may occur to other locations in the country. Background check will be conducted before employment.
