HR Consultant for the Social Services Administration

The Social Services Administration, with approximately 1,275 permanent employees and about 600 temporary staff, includes five operational areas beyond the management team. These operational areas are ordinary housing, special housing, LSS and social psychiatry, HSL and short-term accommodations, as well as management support, which organizes units such as case management, economists, HR, system administrators, and investigators.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you want to work in a consultative HR role while also taking responsibility for developing and strengthening support for the administration's managers? Then this is the job for you!

You will work closely with operations and provide professional support and expert advice on strategic and operational personnel issues.

You will participate in the development and training within the HR field to create good conditions for managers to take their employer responsibilities. The job offers a wide variety of tasks and opportunities to plan your work independently. You have a consultative working method where you consider the whole and take responsibility for your own assignment in collaboration with your colleagues. You contribute from an HR perspective to ensure that the operations achieve their goals while adhering to the municipality's values and personnel policy.

Position 1

HR consultant for work as a generalist where you support and guide several of the administration's managers in areas such as labor law, work environment, recruitment, work adaptation, salary setting, etc. This position also has a special assignment focused on monitoring and developing work in the area of work ability and work adaptation (rehabilitation). In this assignment, you will collaborate with, for example, occupational health services, Region Gävleborg, and the Social Insurance Agency.

Position 2

HR consultant with a special assignment focused on competence supply. This includes, for example, internship planning for schools and integration, language development, and monitoring within the field. In this assignment, you will collaborate with, for example, schools, the labor administration, and the Care and Welfare College.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in human resources or another education that the employer deems equivalent.

We value if you have several years of experience working with operational support for managers and from municipal operations and its contractual areas.

You can work independently with analytical and strategic thinking and have good organizational skills. You are responsible, action-oriented, and flexible. As a person, you are calm, stable, persistent, and have high integrity. You are used to having many contacts and can collaborate with other actors in a trustworthy manner. You can translate theory into practice and have the ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing. We expect you to have good IT skills and an interest in the possibilities of technology.

You have a pleasant demeanor, are social, and have no problem speaking in front of a group. You are structured and have the ability to plan and document your work. You prioritize and drive your work forward in an independent and thoughtful manner. We will place great importance on personal qualities and suitability. A driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are required.

Position 1

For this position, it is advantageous if you have experience working generally with HR issues and specifically in the area of work ability and work adaptation (rehabilitation) with a focus on reducing sick leave.

Position 2

For this position, it is advantageous if you have experience in internship planning, language development, and collaboration within the school sector.
