Job Description In the role of Accounting Coordinator at the Swedish ESF Council, you will be a key person in the agency's administrative unit responsible for coordinating accounting, including EU accounting. This is a role with both strategic and operational elements, where you work closely with an engaged team. At the Swedish ESF Council, you have the opportunity to work in a smaller organization where the work is meaningful and socially beneficial – every task is part of something larger.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating the accounting for the agency, including EU accounting, and ensuring that the agency complies with applicable regulations and guidelines.

- Acting as the contact person towards the State Service Center and the National Audit Office in the financial parts of the annual report and coordinating the reporting of these internally.

- Being responsible for guidelines, procedures, chart of accounts, and the agency's financial model.

- Performing certain ongoing accounting tasks related to both the agency's and the EU's requirements.

Qualifications and Characteristics This role is suitable for you who have good analytical skills, work in a structured manner, and enjoy coordination and a holistic perspective. 

To succeed in this role, you have:

- At least two years of experience in qualified accounting within the public sector in the last five years.

- Experience in coordinating year-end accounts or other extensive financial deliveries within larger organizations, such as municipalities or agencies.

- The ability to plan, coordinate, and ensure the quality of financial processes.

- A university degree in economics with a focus on accounting.

- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is advantageous if you also have:

- Experience with EU structural funds and associated regulations.

- Experience in investigative and development work within the economic field.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and good collaboration skills.
