Become a part of our team
We are now looking for an HR generalist for the Gävledala district. You will support our managers in Hälsingland, where we have operations in Bollnäs, Ljusdal, Söderhamn, and Hudiksvall.

As an HR generalist, you will be part of the district's HR team together with an HR business partner (HRBP) and two HR generalists. You will report to the HRBP in the district, who is also a member of the district's management group. The district consists of approximately 1600 employees, of which about 600 are in Hälsingland.

Samhall is organized into 14 districts, and the district's HR teams are part of the HR Operations unit, which consists of a total of about 60 employees. HR Operations is tasked with ensuring a uniform and operationally close HR work and serves as a forum for knowledge sharing and competence exchange. The unit is part of Samhall's department for HR & Communication.

The role of HR generalist
As an HR generalist, you will work with broad operational HR tasks in close partnership with the managers in your district. Together, you will focus on employee development with the aim of enhancing work capacity and employability through work. In your daily work, you will often face issues that are strongly related to the work environment and rehabilitation, as all our employees have disabilities that may require special adaptations and individualized leadership.

Your work will also include negotiating with unions on various personnel matters and driving the salary process for employees within the LO collective. You will be responsible for training planning, ensuring that rehabilitation work is carried out according to regulations, and following the district's plan for reduced sick leave. The role also includes promoting an inclusive and equitable corporate culture and fostering good cooperation with the Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, occupational health services, and Samhall's trade unions.

Who are you and what drives you to do?
We are looking for someone with several years of experience in broad operational HR work and relevant academic education or equivalent work experience. You have good knowledge of labor law, experience in union negotiations, and are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. Experience working with the Employment Service and the Social Insurance Agency, as well as other language skills besides Swedish, are advantageous.

You are good at building trusting relationships and work in a goal-oriented and structured manner. You are development-oriented, have good communication skills, a coaching approach, and represent HR issues in a professional manner with high personal integrity. You need to have a B driver's license as the position involves travel primarily within Hälsingland but also throughout the entire Gävledala District.
