SiS LVM-hem Renforsen is looking for 10 temporary positions (hourly substitutes) as treatment pedagogues/assistants. Job Description

In the role of treatment pedagogue/assistant, we require personal suitability. You need to be calm, stable, and stress-resistant to handle the various aspects of the role. You will work in a team with treatment pedagogues, treatment assistants, and treatment coordinators. Together, you are responsible for ensuring that our clients receive the safety, care, and treatment they need. We often meet people in crisis, which means you will work with qualified care, motivational work, and being a support in the clients' daily lives. With your knowledge of working with people in vulnerable situations, you actively contribute to the fulfillment of treatment plans. Documentation is an important part of your work and contributes to legal security, planning, and follow-up of our operations. You help maintain safety according to our routines and assist in ensuring that clients' daily lives run smoothly, e.g., cleaning, cooking, participating in activities, etc. Your work includes case management and you may be appointed as a mentor for new employees and interns. This is a job for those who see a positive challenge in working with vulnerable people in difficult life situations. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

Working hours are according to a schedule including days, evenings, and weekends.

As a new employee, you will undergo a local introduction including theory, conflict management, CPR, etc. You will also receive guided training in your respective department. The employer aims to equip you for the treatment role in SiS operations.

Qualifications

To succeed in your work, you have a solid positive view of humanity. You are motivated to help people in vulnerable life situations and share SiS's core values of being a place for change. Furthermore, you have a good ability to create engagement and participation among our clients. As a person, you are secure in yourself and easily build relationships with clients as well as with other staff members. The role includes meeting people with respect, clarity, and the ability to set boundaries. Therefore, you should have good communication skills and be able to remain calm even in pressured situations. You find it easy to collaborate with others and can handle conflicts constructively. Personal suitability is of great importance.

You should also have the following qualifications as a treatment pedagogue:

• Degree from a 2-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) with a focus on social/pedagogical treatment work or education from a university that we assess as equivalent
• Driver's license (B)
• Good Swedish language skills in speech and writing

You should have the following qualifications as a treatment assistant:

• Degree from upper secondary education
• Driver's license (B)
• Good Swedish language skills in speech and writing

It is an advantage for the position if you have experience working with people in vulnerable situations, e.g., psychiatry, LSS, group homes, etc.
