About the Position
MJs in Linköping is currently seeking a qualified economist who wants to become an important part of their team. As an economist, you will play a central role in their finance department and contribute to the company's success by managing various financial tasks and processes. At MJs, you will have a developing role in a stable company with a good community and short decision-making paths.
This recruitment is conducted in collaboration between Montico and MJs. Montico is responsible for the recruitment process, while the employment will be directly with MJs.

Job Description
You will work broadly with the financial flow, from ongoing bookkeeping to year-end closing and reporting. The role involves both independent work and collaboration with the rest of the team to ensure effective and accurate financial management.
- Ongoing bookkeeping including invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Management of incoming and outgoing payments
- Payroll administration and reporting to Forum
- Tax declarations and handling of VAT and employer contributions
- Responsibility for the entire year-end closing process
- Preparation of reports, including SVA profit allocation reports
We are looking for someone who
- Has experience in the above-mentioned tasks
- Holds a degree in finance - preferably post-secondary
- Has good experience in bookkeeping and business economics
- Has experience with business systems Next, Visma, and Visma Payroll
- Can work independently and accurately while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Has good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team
- Has a few years of experience in a similar role
We value qualities such as independence, accuracy, and the ability to handle a high workload. Experience from the industry and knowledge of local regulations and guidelines are advantageous.
