The position is located at the section for work operations, ASV, and service.

The section coordinates and provides support at national, regional, and local levels in matters concerning employment areas: work operations and practical work training, ASV (other structured activities), and service in prisons and remand facilities. The section has both centrally and regionally placed employees and is part of the unit for treatment, work, and studies in the department for operational content.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an expert in the section for work operations, ASV, and service, you have a challenging and developing assignment. The tasks are varied and focused on developing employment opportunities for clients/inmates in prisons and remand facilities together with the section's employees.

The work mainly consists of financial follow-up and responsibility for the investment process for work operations, which is a national responsibility that involves coordinating and ensuring the quality of investments within work operations. This includes the entire investment budget process from needs analysis to approved budget and decisions regarding investments.

Associated tasks include analyzing and proposing changes within the economic area for the section's responsibility for work operations, service, and ASV. This work often has an impact from a national perspective. The position is also utilized as a resource for training and continuing education of production leaders regarding the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's financial management system. Development and revision of governing documents are included in the position, as well as requirements specification and management of contracts.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant post-secondary education in areas such as economics, or other education combined with experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant
• Experience with the financial system Unit4 ERP
• Good knowledge of the Office suite (Word, Excel)
• The ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience in business and product development
• Experience in asset accounting
• Well-regarded experience working within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service or other public sector
• Experience in procurement and requirements specification
• Knowledge of public procurement (LOU)
