The mission of the Education and Labor Market Administration is to increase individuals' opportunities to find work and become self-sufficient through education, internships, and employment. We have, among other things, the municipality's largest combined offering of upper secondary education and courses for adults.

Sturegymnasiet is a central school located near the train station, housed in several historic buildings around a courtyard. This creates a campus feel and an inviting outdoor environment. We offer introductory programs, vocational programs, university preparatory programs, and adapted upper secondary school. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The years as a high school student are like an exciting adventure, but it should be a safe adventure where the student does not lose but wins the more they invest. The high schools in Halmstad Municipality therefore have a common goal of offering students the safest adventure of their lives. A teacher working with us should be well-educated and have a strong commitment to their subjects.

We are looking for someone who is driven to harness and develop each student's abilities and create conditions for learning. Through a professional approach, you create trust, safety, and inspire students to a joyful learning experience.

Sturegymnasiet is now seeking a primary school teacher for the introductory program. In this role, you will educate students based on the governing documents available. Your responsibilities also include documenting, evaluating, and planning activities in collaboration with your team. Additionally, mentorship and standard tasks related to the teaching assignment are included.

You will be part of the introductory program's team, and together we will organize teaching so that students receive the subjects they need to progress in their studies.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license with qualifications to teach at the primary school level in several subjects.

Furthermore, you are an engaged person who enjoys teaching and working with youth. You are creative, responsive, and structured with a good ability to adapt your teaching style to meet your students' individual needs.

You are clear and good at communicating and skilled at inspiring students' interest in school. We expect you to take initiative in your role, start activities, and achieve results.

You act based on our municipality's common values and are a role model for other employees. You encourage participation and creativity, show personal care by providing support, and confront in a good spirit, both for your closest colleagues and for the organization as a whole. Through your actions and communication, this approach spreads throughout the organization, creating motivated and creative colleagues.
