We are looking for someone who wants to help develop our school, a colleague in craft with a focus on wood and metal craft at Presseskolan! The role of a teacher with us

As a teacher in wood and metal craft at Presseskolan, you contribute to a culture of sharing where we collectively take responsibility, collaborate, and support each other.

You are passionate about creation and have the desire to challenge and inspire our students. You conduct teaching based on the students' conditions and needs and have a working method where student influence and flexibility are a natural part. You are well-versed in aesthetic learning processes. Based on our governing documents, you plan, implement, and evaluate the activities together with your colleagues.

You take overall responsibility and work towards a safe environment for our students at the school. You will have close collaboration with teachers in textile craft and art and be part of a work team in grades 4-6. You work to create the best possible conditions for students to absorb knowledge and feel a desire to learn. Welcome to a safe and inspiring workplace. Mentorship may be included in the position.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a certified teacher with qualifications in wood and metal or similar.

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience working in schools within the craft subject.

At our school, we aim for learning to be a consistent thread from preschool class up to grade 6. Presseskolan is located on the Onsala Peninsula, in the western parts of Kungsbacka municipality with Kungsbacka as the nearest town. The attractive location near the sea and countryside provides schools with great opportunities for activities outside the classroom. At Presseskolan, we have about 400 students from preschool class up to grade 6. The school has two to three classes in each grade.

Our offer and additional information

We offer a permanent position of 80-100% with placement according to agreement.
