JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a preschool teacher who wants to be part of our team. Slätten Preschool is a preschool where interaction, safety, trust, and joy are the foundation. Through a varied program both indoors and in our lovely outdoor environment, we promote valuable play, children's curiosity, development, imagination, and the desire to learn.

In your role as a preschool teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and leading the work with reflection, planning, evaluation, follow-up, and development together with the team and in collaboration with the entire preschool. Together with your colleagues in the team, you will drive and actualize the goals and intentions of the curriculum so that children are given the conditions to develop the skills highlighted, which occurs in both planned and spontaneous teaching situations.

You are a co-discoverer and co-experiencer in the children's activities, and from that, you contribute to creating conditions for children to progress in both the physical and psychological learning environment. Together, we create conditions for everyone to succeed, both adults and children!

In the unit, it is natural for us to challenge each other on pedagogical questions/statements and see it as a prerequisite for developing both as individuals and as a group.

The positions have a scope of 80-100%.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a preschool teacher certification, and if you have experience from previous work in preschool, it is an advantage. As a person, you are resourceful and development-oriented, enjoying finding solutions that drive the preschool forward.

You see the positive in both children, colleagues, and guardians, and your attitude is that everyone does their best based on their circumstances. As a person, you enjoy driving projects and collaborating with others, seeing collaboration as an opportunity for learning and development. You have good digital skills and strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

The Education Act requires that all employees in school/preschool activities must present a criminal record extract before employment can begin.
