The Role of a High School Teacher with Us

As a special education teacher with us, you will teach your subjects but also provide support in other classes. The role requires close collaboration with colleagues and the ability to think outside the box to meet the diverse needs of students. The position includes mentorship for some of our students in the programs, and you should feel comfortable communicating with guardians and networks around the students. Together with other educators, you will create a learning environment characterized by safety, understanding, and respect. You will participate in the school's collective development work and contribute to the school's educational planning and strategy.

Your Profile

You have the ability to adapt teaching and support according to individual needs and conditions, as well as good collaboration skills and a willingness to work together with a cross-professional team. You should also have a strong commitment and interest in working with young people and their development. Additionally, good communication skills are important to create a positive and trusting relationship with students, guardians, and colleagues. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed special education teacher qualified to teach core subjects in national programs, adapted high school

It is meritorious:

• has qualifications in the subjects of English and Home Economics
