We are looking for more course leaders for the autumn term of 2025. This is a part-time job you can do alongside other employment. It is important that you are knowledgeable in the area you wish to teach and have the ability to plan the content of a course largely on your own.

Subjects for courses that may be suitable include crafts, health, nature/gardening, IT, languages, etc.

About the position "Course Leader"

You will hold a course at the Study Association Vuxenskolan in spring in a subject that YOU are passionate about and want to teach others. It can be a one-day course, a weekend course, or a course over several sessions. You will plan the course content and scope in consultation with the business developer at the Study Association Vuxenskolan.

NOTE! You should have an idea for a subject you want to teach. In your application, please specify which subject(s) you are knowledgeable in and whether you have taught it before.

The course can be held during the day, in the evening, or as a weekend course. Please indicate what suits you best.

This is a part-time position, so you will be paid based on the number of hours the course runs.

All circle leaders/course leaders with us will attend our circle leader training, where they will gain more knowledge about popular education and the role of a circle leader.

About you as a course leader

You are an enthusiastic person who has a subject you are good at and want to share with others. You enjoy and are good at handling people. You are eager for a fun and stimulating part-time job. It is an advantage if you have taught or led courses before, but it is not a requirement.

We prefer that you live in Varberg municipality. You are self-sufficient and can plan your course independently but with support from the business developer. We place great importance on your engagement in the subject you are teaching.

Location for the course

Depending on what kind of course you will be holding, we will choose a venue. We have our own course rooms and a dance studio centrally located in Varberg where most courses are held. We are also open to holding courses in other parts of the municipality and will rent suitable venues as needed.
