Your New Job

We are looking for an engaged and driven coordinator for the school social workers in the primary and secondary schools in Jönköping Municipality.

Do you want to work to ensure the quality of the psychosocial competence within student health? You will do this by driving development work to create an accessible learning environment, increased equity, and goal fulfillment for our students in primary and secondary school.

  • You provide professional support to school social workers.
  • You plan and coordinate professional networks and various improvement and development projects within the profession.
  • You assist in the recruitment and onboarding of newly hired school social workers.
  • You coordinate the work with student teachers received annually.
  • You have a cross-administrative coordination responsibility for the ANDTS survey.
  • You are also part of the assessment group for adapted schools.
  • You create conditions for participation within your own professional group through dialogue.

The role requires good and clear communication skills, organizational ability, and the ability to build relationships.

In this position, you will collaborate with the coordinators of student health, other employees in central administration, and external partners.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker and has professional experience in social work. You have experience in development and change work and are accustomed to leading groups and processes. You find it easy to collaborate and build working relationships with people both internally and externally and possess good communication skills in both spoken and written form. You demonstrate respectful interaction with people and have good judgment and empathetic ability to understand others' perspectives and situations. You are engaged, professional, and proactive. You are also driven in quality work and documentation. As a person, you easily create personal relationships and work for safety and well-being. You have a positive attitude and take responsibility in your work. You see the organization as a whole and want to continue developing the psychosocial competence of student health in Jönköping Municipality.
