We are looking for a caring and dedicated personal assistant for an 18-year-old boy who loves activities and play. He lives with his parents in a villa in Jönköping and has limitations in his ability to speak, which requires your presence and support. During weekdays, he attends school but without an assistant. He has a great interest in swimming, taking the bus and train, jumping on a trampoline, watching motorsport on TV, and playing with his cars. In addition to these interests, it is important to be able to manage his severe epilepsy, as daily seizures occur. Therefore, your presence is crucial.

The position is a part-time employment as needed, with shifts scheduled during afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Job Responsibilities: As a personal assistant, you will play a significant role in enabling a functional and quality daily life. Previous experience in similar work is advantageous, but the most important aspect for us is that you have the right attitude and feel for the job. The tasks are varied and include, among others:

• Personal hygiene and care.
• Support during social activities and leisure interests.
• Assistance and support during meal situations.
• Accompanying to the swimming pool and other outings.
• Helping with dressing and undressing.
• Assisting during training and physical activities.
• Helping with transfers.

• Has a driver's license.
• Is a competent swimmer.
• Is in good physical shape and non-smoker.
• Is calm, inventive, and stress-resistant.
• Can tolerate pets, as a cat is present in the home.
• Takes initiative and can work independently.
• Speaks and writes fluent Swedish.

The position is a part-time employment as needed to cover unstaffed shifts in the schedule and during illness and leave of regular staff. Since it is a part-time position, the level of employment may vary from month to month and is therefore difficult to specify in advance. Working hours may include day, evening, and weekend shifts. You will receive training that allows you to feel secure and well-prepared for your new role.
