Personal Assistant Needed for Charming Young Man in Eksjö

We are now looking for an engaged, pedagogical, and empathetic person to work as a personal assistant for our super charming client in Eksjö! There are opportunities for summer temporary positions, hourly positions, and possibly a permanent position after the summer.

He is a cheerful young man soon turning 25, with diagnoses including developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders.

In this role, it is important to actively look after the client and be there for him.

For this position, you need to be a person with great commitment and an interest in individuals who are part of LSS.

We are looking for someone who wants to work in a pedagogical and structured manner.

With this young man, we work a lot with activities and language development as the user needs sign language.

If you have experience with sign language, it is a big plus, but otherwise, having an interest in learning it is essential.

Having experience with autism and an understanding of the structure and working methods required is also meritorious; however, personal suitability is considered the most important. You should be good at reading and sensing other people, have good self-awareness, and be confident in yourself.

It is also important that you are responsible, flexible, and see this work as a long-term commitment.

Your work is based at home but also involves going on various activities with him.

Do you enjoy being active at work and coming up with ideas? Are you an initiative-taking person? Wonderful! That is exactly what is needed in this position as the client has a great need to stay active.

A B driver's license is a plus but not a requirement.

Working Hours / Duration: The position is primarily a summer temporary position, but we also need hourly workers who can work as needed. There are good chances that it could lead to a larger ongoing position in the fall for those who wish.
