Tursbo Rehab is a well-established treatment center for men with addiction issues, often in combination with criminality and mental health problems. We work with the 12-step program as our theoretical foundation and have competencies such as psychologists, psychiatrists, and nurses. We have two units, one in Åker outside Skillingaryd and one in Kulltorp. We are looking for extra staff who are open to working at both units.

In preparation for the summer and as needed, we are now seeking staff who want to work hours as treatment assistants but who also enjoy cooking and can assist in the kitchen when needed.

Experience or education as a treatment assistant with experience of the target group is an advantage. Knowledge and experience of the 12-step program is particularly meritorious.

The daily work is varied depending on the position, but it includes holding conversations and social interactions with our clients. The main tasks in the evenings and weekends include sampling, documentation, cleaning, some cooking, transportation, as well as leading evening meetings and distributing medication according to delegation. Supervision and social control are also important parts of the job. Therefore, the tasks will be varied.

Experience in addiction care or other work with the target group is highly meritorious, and if you have experience through your own addiction, at least 3 years of documented sobriety/drug-free is required. You also need to be able to provide a criminal record extract.

We are looking for extra staff who can work as needed; it is an advantage if you live in the local area and can sometimes step in at short notice. A driving license for manual transmission is a requirement.

Working hours will vary as needed. Evening and night work may occur.
