About the position:

Victor Energy is looking for an experienced IT technician who wants to be part of our expansive journey. In this role, you will be responsible for our infrastructure and service desk in Sweden. You will play a crucial role in ensuring stability, integrity, and that our IT infrastructure operates smoothly and efficiently, thereby best supporting our operations. The position is based at our office in Ludvika.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure including servers, networks, firewalls, and cloud services.
• Provide technical support to resolve complex issues and ensure a high level of service.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to prevent recurring problems.
• Install, configure, and maintain both hardware and software to meet the organization's needs.
• Collaborate with the global security team to identify and address security issues and ensure the protection of the company's resources and data.
• Be responsible for the company's SharePoint environment.

Who are you?

To succeed in the role of Infrastructure and Service Desk Technician, we see that you are a person with strong problem-solving skills who enjoys providing high-quality service. You have a positive and analytical mindset and work well both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications and IT Knowledge:

• At least 5 years of experience in similar roles within IT infrastructure and technical support.
• MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) and/or MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) certification.
• Knowledge of managing and supporting virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Good knowledge of networks, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, and VPN.
• Previous experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.

If you also have other certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, experience with automation and scripting, as well as knowledge of enterprise storage systems and backup solutions, we consider this an advantage.
