RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who is curious and has an interest in how IT and digitalization can help address the challenges facing the municipality today and in the future.

You will play a key role in the municipality's digital development, leading and driving the municipality's Digitalization Office. The Digitalization Office gathers all of the municipality's digitalization initiatives and aligns the needs of the operations with IT's capabilities to contribute to a better digital future. You will coordinate and be responsible for initiatives at a high level.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Leading and coordinating the municipality's digitalization initiatives
• Driving the implementation of digital solutions
• Monitoring and reviewing the status of digitalization initiatives
• Allocating and coordinating shared resources
• Promoting collaboration with other municipalities and stakeholders.
• Conducting environmental scanning and contributing to maintaining a high level of competence in the field.
• Collaborating and supporting the municipality's various operations to identify and promote digital solutions.
• Being part of the municipality's transformation journey towards an attractive and modern organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

Relevant higher education or experience deemed equivalent by the employer.

You have previous experience leading and following up on projects within IT and digitalization, as well as experience working with digitalization and/or IT strategic issues.

It is important that you understand what it means to work in a politically governed organization.

Your personal qualities will be of great importance. You are a good collaborator but also plan and organize your tasks independently from start to finish. You can shift effortlessly between the operational and strategic perspectives.

Other important qualities include being communicative and able to create engagement and understanding for IT and digitalization as support in business development. You will be the link between the operations and IT. With many contact points both internally and externally, it will be important that you can build trusting relationships.
