VB Energikoncernen is an environmentally and occupationally certified energy company headquartered in Ludvika. The company employs about 75 people and encompasses electricity sales, district heating, electricity distribution, and operation of hydropower plants. About the Role

We are currently looking for three summer employees at VB Elnät who want to work most of the summer (June-August by agreement).

Västerbergslagens Elnät owns, operates, and maintains the electricity grid within Ludvika, Fagersta, and parts of Smedjebacken Municipality. With approximately 27,000 customers and an annual transit of nearly 1 TWh, we are an important player in the energy transition to a fossil-free society. As a summer employee with us, you will:

• Work in our NIS system (dpPower) updating information about lines, cables, and station diagrams.
• Digitize various types of technical documents.

We are also looking for a summer employee in electricity grid project planning, specifically a junior Electricity Grid Project Manager.

Requirements

• We are looking for someone currently studying at a university/college/vocational school with a focus on electrical power or someone in a technical program at high school.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Good computer skills.
• It is important that you can communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities and believe that you are a self-driven person who takes responsibility for your tasks. You are service-oriented and have good collaboration skills. Furthermore, you are meticulous, analytical, and have good computer skills.
