Senior Fullstack Developer

Responsibilities

As a senior developer, you will take a leading role in the team and ensure that development is heading in the right direction - from architecture and design to technical choices and strategies. You will be the bridge between IT and the business, gaining an understanding of both areas. With a curious mind and the ability to think outside the box, you will contribute daily to improving the Swedish transportation system.

We work agilely with close collaboration between development and management, where you, together with the team, contribute to both innovation and stable IT solutions.

A typical day includes:

• leading and guiding the team in development and design.
• acting as the bridge between architects and the development team.
• coaching and mentoring experienced developers.
• working on both new development and management of IT solutions.
• contributing to high delivery capacity and creating value for users and train passengers.
• driving the agile working method forward and promoting collaboration and innovation.

This means that you:

• will utilize your experience in fullstack development.
• lead and coach development teams.
• make technical decisions and drive strategic choices.
• have a good understanding of both IT and business needs.

Qualifications

You have a strong technical interest and a desire to understand the business so that you can develop solutions that satisfy users in collaboration with the organization.

We are looking for someone who:

• has a higher education in IT of at least 180 credits (120 ECTS), e.g., computer scientist, software engineer, or equivalent education combined with experience we deem equivalent.
• has several years of relevant work experience in system development throughout the entire chain; requirements specification, design, programming, testing, and deployment (the position of senior system developer is usually reached after approximately 8 years).
• has extensive current work experience in programming within the Microsoft platform with C#, .NET, and SQL.
• has very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is advantageous if you:

• have experience working in a technically leading role, e.g., Lead Developer.
• have current and relevant work experience in programming with Angular and JavaScript.
• have current and relevant experience working with deployment and/or test automation.
• have current and relevant experience working in a complex IT environment.
