IT Support Employee at Spendrups

We are looking for you who are at the beginning of your career and have started to build your knowledge in IT support within a Microsoft environment. Spendrups is on an exciting journey where they are transforming their ServiceDesk, and here you will be involved from the start to build it up together with really great colleagues!

ABOUT THE POSITION

Spendrups is a genuine family business run by the fourth generation, with several family members actively involved in the heart of the operation. The organization includes 1100 employees who work in Grängesberg, Hällefors, Visby, Stockholm, and at all terminals and sales offices across Sweden. Their core business lies in their breweries where they produce world-class beer, as well as soft drinks, mineral water, etc.

As a ServiceDesk employee, you are your colleagues' first point of contact for IT support. You will receive, categorize, and resolve IT-related issues and provide support to users primarily through a ticketing system but also via phone and email. The IT environment is primarily Microsoft-based with many Office 365 related issues, but you will also support production, so items such as truck computers and label printers will also occur. In this role, your base will be in Grängesberg, but you will also travel to Hällefors 1-2 days a week to support colleagues on-site.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming tickets via phone, email, and ticketing system and ensure they are logged correctly
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues such as login problems, network issues, software questions, and hardware-related problems.
  • Participate in internal meetings and training to continuously improve skills and service delivery
  • Update and maintain tickets in the ticketing system for traceability and follow-up, ensuring quick and accurate documentation
  • Provide user support and guidance in IT-related questions, including Microsoft 365, VPN, remote access, and various business applications
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access management in Active Directory and other systems

As IT support, you are also responsible for documenting solutions, creating guides, and contributing to the knowledge base to improve self-service options. You test and evaluate new IT solutions and report any improvement suggestions to the IT department. For more complex issues, you escalate them to the appropriate support level according to established procedures and follow up on the escalated cases. Additionally, you provide remote support and guide users through technical problems.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Have previous experience working in IT support
  • Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Networking, Active Directory, and Entra ID
  • Experience working in a ticketing system
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Have a B driver's license and preferably access to your own car

It is a merit if you have

  • Experience with Cisco Meraki networking solutions, HP Printers, and Azure
