The IT unit belongs to the Staff & Service Administration and is centrally organized within the municipality.

The IT unit currently consists of eight employees. Now that one of our team members is leaving for new adventures, we need a new team player to join us.

As we are relatively few in the unit, humility and team spirit are important qualities. You will become an important cog in the wheel, and I hope that you want to join us on our continued development journey together.

Job Description

Working as a technician involves a variety of tasks as the position is diverse, ranging from support issues to development questions. Here, you may become more of a “jack-of-all-trades” than a specialist, for better or worse, although there are some opportunities for specialization as well. The IT operations today are characterized by high operational reliability and proximity to our users.

The general development means that we must constantly keep ourselves updated on yesterday's technology for today's/tomorrow's digitalization. What will AI require of us?

The IT unit is responsible for operations and supports the organization in technology and user-related matters. Another part of the work is the municipality's digitalization, where the IT unit plays an important role in supporting the departments in their development. As an IT technician, you primarily work with all conceivable user support. The role we are currently seeking includes server operations (VMware), device management (Intune, SCCM), and networking.

Qualifications

You who are applying have relevant education for the position and previous experience in IT support, service desk, or equivalent. It is advantageous to have prior experience in one or more of the areas of server operations, Intune, SCCM, and/or networking.

As a person, you are flexible, proactive, and easily collaborate in various constellations. You have the ability to stay one step ahead, see change as natural in an evolving organization, and are always ready to provide excellent service to our operations.

The role also requires you to have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
