Accounts Assistant at MEKO Sweden

MEKO Sweden is now looking for an Accounts Assistant for our accounts receivable department. We are looking for someone with high drive, a sense of service, and a desire to create structure in a changing environment. You will work with several of our companies and with various ERP systems. Main tasks include:

• Accounts receivable management including some bookkeeping
• Debt collection
• Administration and maintenance of customer registers
• Invoicing
• Credit assessments of customers in accordance with credit policy
• Daily contact with customers and stores/workshops via email and phone
• Various administrative tasks

We also continuously work on improving our processes, and to fit this role, you should be interested in improvement work.

You will be part of MEKO Sweden's accounts receivable team of about 7 people, a team characterized by strong team spirit. We have a wonderful and permissive atmosphere, and we encourage each other to develop and learn. The team belongs to our SSC, which consists of about 50 employees. Your workplace will be Malmö, one of MEKO Sweden's two headquarters. You will report to the Teamleader Accounts Receivable.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has recently completed a YH education with a financial focus or has a few years of experience in similar roles, preferably within larger organizations. You are passionate about service and numbers and find it fun and developing to work in a larger corporation with high volumes. You have good communication skills, are ambitious, quick to learn new systems, and can express yourself well in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. You are comfortable speaking on the phone.

To thrive and succeed in this role, it is important that you are confident in your skills, curious, helpful, and enjoy recurring tasks. You bring energy and contribute with innovative thinking, and you enjoy improving, simplifying, and streamlining processes. You have good communication skills, and as a person, you are meticulous and reliable. You will work independently on many of the tasks but also closely with other colleagues in the team. Finally, we place great importance on your drive, both in your personality and in relation to your tasks.
