Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, committed, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a guy in his 30s living in Nässjö

• has experience in healthcare/care

• has experience with autism

• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• is physically fit as walking, training, and swimming occur often

• can assist with communication

• is tolerant of pets

• is smoke-free

• can work the following weeks: 27, 28, 29, 30, 32, and 33.

It is also advantageous if you:

• have healthcare education or have previously worked as a personal assistant

• have a B driver's license

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary job and is approximately 80%. The job involves working during daytime, evening, and night on weekdays and weekends.

The working hours are from 07:30 to 07:30 with 5.5 hours of on-call time at night.

You will work during the following weeks: Week 27, 28, 29, 30, 32, and 33.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as a personal assistant for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
