We are looking for a new team member
We are looking for a new team member who wants to help drive our work in training, educating, and developing the Armed Forces' sensor/air defense capabilities. With us, you will have the opportunity to use your skills where they truly make a difference. Together with an experienced team, you will create solutions that leave an impact – both today and in the future.
About the position
As an electronic warfare operator within target flying, you play a crucial role in planning, executing, and evaluating electronic warfare missions that contribute to the Armed Forces' exercises. Through your efforts, you ensure that our missions are carried out with high precision and that our systems are continuously developed to meet future needs. In this role, you will work as a crew member on board and manage advanced electronic warfare systems to train, educate, and develop the Armed Forces' ability to operate in a contested environment. You will also be actively involved in troubleshooting, maintenance, and further development of the technology, collaborating closely with suppliers to improve and maintain our operational capability.
In addition to your work in the air, you will participate in strategic processes such as requirements specification, safety analyses, and procurement of equipment. After completing your training, you will also have the opportunity to take on the role of cabin manager, which gives you increased responsibility on board and in operational activities. This is an exciting opportunity for you who want to combine technical expertise with practical aviation operations and contribute to the development of the Armed Forces!
The position is based in Linköping. Travel is required for the position, primarily domestically but also internationally.
About you
We are looking for someone who is a university-educated or military engineer with relevant technical orientation or equivalent competence acquired in another way that we assess as equivalent. You have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
It is an advantage if you have experience in the field of microwave technology, preferably in radar and/or electronic warfare. It is also beneficial if you have experience as a crew member in military or civilian aviation operations, as well as in verification and validation activities. If you have experience in target flying, both material and operational operation, that is a plus. To thrive in this role, we hope you have an interest in electronic warfare systems; knowledge of the Armed Forces' aviation material and radar and sensor systems, as well as their tactical, technical, and operational use, is a plus.
Personal qualities are of great importance to us. We welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds and experiences and are looking for someone who is an analytical and solution-oriented person with the drive to deliver results. You collaborate well in a team but also take your own initiatives and work independently. Flexibility is a strength of yours – you adapt quickly to changes and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. With a focus on performance and quality, you always strive to meet set goals.
