Academic Resource is now seeking a Research Engineer in Solna for a Life Science company.

The position is a long-term consulting assignment starting immediately or as agreed.

The work is during the day and full-time.

About the department:

The Resin and Ligand Design department within R&D.

Develops new chromatographic ligands and base matrices. R&D Affinity Ligand Design.

Employees primarily work in the lab.

The team consists of a combination of junior, mid, and senior levels. Everyone works in teams on projects.

Job responsibilities:

Standard laboratory work in molecular biology, including recombinant DNA work, cloning, protein expression and purification, as well as analysis of protein-protein interactions. Candidates with documented experience in protein engineering and, in particular, phage display are of particular interest. Data analysis, experimental planning, and presentation.

Qualifications:

- University degree, MSc or equivalent.

- Experience in laboratory work, some experience with phage display.

- Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.

Preferred qualifications:

Higher degree and previous experience with phage display. Ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written.
